Additional Information
Dr. Kalnoki is a highly trained plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and body contouring procedures. She completed fellowship training in these fields with Dennis Hammond, MD, an internationally recognized plastic surgeon. Dr. Kalnoki gained expertise in performing demanding surgical procedures such as the SPAIR breast reduction, which minimizes scarring on the breast as compared to traditional techniques. She is known to have an eye for detail, precise techniques, and natural results.
Dr. Kalnoki graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from the University of Chicago, while also completing a minor in Egyptology. She obtained a master of science degree in biology before going on to study medicine in her home state of Ohio at Wright State University. Dr. Kalnoki completed five years of general surgery training in the integrated surgical residency program at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. She went on to the University of Louisville in Kentucky for her two-year training in plastic surgery. She pursued further specialty fellowship training in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Dr. Hammond, a highly competitive position.
Dr. Kalnoki is also a talented painter. Her artistic ability refines her aesthetic vision and complements her work as a plastic surgeon. “Painting trains my eyes to accurately see forms and shapes, and disciplines my hands to recreate them on my canvas,” she explains. “The same is true in surgery – my eyes and hands work together to create a beautiful final shape.”
